68.1kgs.....and Tri no.3 FINISHED

Well despite the infections, and being on antibiotics for 4 weeks and steroids...I managed to (miss a dose of antibiotics as they make me feel crap deliberately the night before the tri) and complete the triathlon (scorching bay) Jan....not a fantastic time......but also came in on my own steam and not in the back of an ambulance....which is what I was a bit worried might actually happen. It was a beautiful day, and there is no better backdrop for exercise than the harbour with big ferries and cruise ships going by...bummer the ferry created a little bit of backwash as we started our swim.... but I didn't swallow too much of the ocean so that was good. Used my new (second hand) wetsuit for the first time....a big thanks to Jules for managing to squish all my bits into it and zip me up before I exploded back out again.....Thank god they are easier to get out of than get in to....otherwise transition would have been tricky....I can see why the swim is at the beginning now!!! Anyway...this weekend is my LAST non-Tri weekend before I hit my 8 triathlons in 8 weeks......part of the challenge. HARD WORK.....not so much the doing of the triathlons....but the early starts and getting into that wetsuit.....those things should come with a bodyhorn.....(shoehorn equivalent!) See you at the next triathlon! Don't forget to donate to the give a little site so we can all make some money for these great charities, I think I might run some extra raffles and maybe have a sushi selling day in the staff room.....to try and get the funds started...as the $0 balance seems to be putting people off donating. Cheers everyone. Kris
